The completed track and music video for Morgana (l

The completed track and music video for Morgana (link in bio). It has a similar structure to the two previous (electronic) music videos and is the last in that trilogy of sorts. The hookline of the track isn't as emotive or catchy as I'd have liked but it was the best fit for the concept/shooting-script out of the four attempts I made at it since mid 2019. Some of the sequences in the video worked out better than others and, as before, there was a few lighting techniques I've learnt about that I tried to put into practice - namely the use of flags in creating separation between the subject and background. Big thanks to @rjacksondesign for help with hanging the large mask and to @wgabbett for the tractor lights, willow rods and letting me shoot on his land.

Two of three basecoated characters (no shading/highlighting applied yet) from the next large scale painting I've been working on since last summer. The third slide is the chosen thumbnail I'm building the various elements on. I took a break from it since work started on the Morgana music video back in May. 'I can't get out' - illustration based on the Brothers Grimm tale The Poor Millers Boy and the Cat. Rendering this turned out to be trickier than I thought, after doing the initial sketch, as the rock layers took a good while to do mainly due to needing them to direct the viewers eye while at the same time adding some sense of depth. #fairytale #painting #illustration #fantasy #fantasyart #brothersgrimm #drawing #illustrator #illustrationartists #cave #cat #magical
