CLIENT: Felicia Hulme-Beaman, Autumn 2012, mountcoggill.com
As this was a fairly unusual house for the Irish countryside the clients needed a site that empathized the benefits of its accommodation: open-plan, spacious, well lit and modern with scenic views all round. We tried to incorporate the oak beams into the design both as a background and as page borders but found it too dark so we settled on neutral teal instead. I was quite happy with the way the silhouette logo and drop-cap chalk fonts worked to add some flavor to an otherwise graphic heavy design.
