After I got the brief I drove over to the amphitheater and walked around taking shots of anything I thought might be useful. Initially I was going to do something with the shape/textures of the stone in the back of the quarry but when I saw the circular stone tile pattern of the performance area itself that seemed like the obvious choice as a starting point plus it was kinda celtic’y which suits the type of the music been played. I added in the dandelions and faded yellow to give the whole thing a late summer vibe.
