The completed music video for Cinder Biter (link i The completed music video for Cinder Biter (link in bio). This was quite a different shoot compared to my previous projects as (steadycam) run-and-gun is not something I’ve had much practice with and was well outside my comfort range. As such I spent a good bit of time testing in pre-production to make sure I would loose as little footage as possible on the scheduled shoot days (due to bad framing, technical camera/rig issues etc.) as there was usually only one chance to capture each scene). Thankfully I only had to re-do one shot and I had enough extra scenes storyboarded to fill out the few that didn’t work within the final edit. I was’nt entirely sure if the shooting script concept itself would work (with the erratic nature of the subject!) and although its abit rough in places, I think we captured some authentic/spontaneous moments that worked well with the vibe of the track. Big thanks to the Callanan and Harper families for their help and patience.
