INFO: 2018, digital painting
I seem to come up with most of my painting concept ideas while out walking up the fields around the house/area where I grew up. There was one large field and copse of trees in particular I used to play in alot that I always found to be a magical sort of place that sparked off my imagination. This was an attempt to capture an example of that imagination aswell as the seasonal atmosphere of the location. Critique: The facial features and posture of both the child and dog needs improving. The grass could do with more detailing and something could have been added to the mid-ground to add more interest/depth.
