I Pretty much knew it was going to be something Elizabethan considering the look/nature of the venue itself. Thankfully Michael had a bunch of books about the Victorian era I was able to borrow that were chock full of images so it was easy enough to figure out how to draw the place in ‘yee-olde-stylee’. Apart from the crosshatching/engraving I decided to copy in a bird image to help reinforce the 1500’s look. I also included the brochure mock-up I worked on for the venue which had a similar vibe.
