The Goblin Dance

INFO: 2024, digital painting

Like most of my large scale paintings this again took longer than planned. This was mostly due to the tweaks required, once all the various parts had been painted, to make the goblin and animals on the right side of the image stand out from the background. The flowers were also too vibrant and took emphasis away from the figures. The inital concept I had of the flowers turning to butterflies as part of the enchantment worked out well enough. Critique: the design of the goblin is rather generic and could have done with more interest/originality. Same with the owl. The rocks too are abit minimal and dont have enough separation with background. The expression on the eldest sisters face is not quite right.
