Drew up the project schedule for 2012. As always things will end up goin alot different but a plan always helps with the direction. Main goals for the year; starting work on the new Monster of Bronski electro set/album, recording the Keep Calm and Carry on album, playing more gigs outta Kilkenny, completing the first Wax Botanical animated music video, lino block print gig posters, beginning work on first mock-up book soundtrack. Plenty to keep me busy : ) Dermot is movin to Cork in January for new job, gone from Tommytown for six to nine months or longer so it’ll be back to solo gigs from February onwards. Good thing I’ve switched over to the acoustic guitar and twill also give me the chance to test out the new loop pedal. Hoping to write a few new hip-hop tracks with it in the new year too.
Begun work on two new sites this week. One, a store based site for a local painter/photographer is my first time building a site with full cart/Paypal functionality. Thankfully I’m using a Woo themes template so the learning curb should be pretty smooth. Also started on a site for Thomastown based pottery Sheenagh Green. As a trained industrial designer she has a very detailed idea about how the site should look. The ultra minimalist brief is gonna be a fun challenge to execute.
