Working on the latest electro tune I realized the majority of the presets/tracks being used taken were from the Reaktor Razor VST. The quality of the sound design in this instrument is fantastic and its very easy to get alternate sounds via MIDI modulation. I haven’t had time yet to dig into the manual but as this is something I see myself using more and more I think I’ll buy this set of tutorials or look for some other online guides. Drum wise I’ve stuck with just the one kit from Groove Agent One and but I found yet another Razor sequence preset that with a high pass filter provides a decent shaker/hi-hat line that adds more bounce and syncopation to the track. I’m not sure yet whether I’ll try adding in a vox line or leave it instrumental. Once I start on the arrangement I should have a better idea or what’ll work or not.
